Tobania transforms people, business and technology for top companies across all economic sectors. The tricky part is often the first: people. Not everybody’s big on changing his or her well-known routines. But you know just how to deal with that. Through structured methodologies you maximise employee engagement and minimise any resistance. Opening people up to new business processes, systems, technology, job roles and organizational structures is your trademark.
What do Change Managers do at Tobania?
-
Lead the way on 5 change fronts: you create actionable deliverables for communication, coaching, training, resistance management and sponsor roadmaps, which you integrate into a solid project plan.
-
Keep track of progress: you define and measure success metrics and user readiness. Your regular change assessments and reports drive the project teams towards meeting the strategic objectives on time and within budget.
-
Hold the web together: you consult and coach project teams, while you also support and engage senior leaders, managers and supervisors. Coordinating efforts with all possible stakeholders is your strength.
-
Apply a structured methodology: you fine-tune proven change methodologies and tools to meet the objectives of every project. Meaning you anticipate resistance and identify risk mitigation tactics along every step of the way.
-
Define key change aspects: you outline organisational designs, training programmes, new roles and responsibilities. And you can easily get new meaning across. Your goal: create change ambassadors everywhere you go.

Never stop growing
“I am a good listener: as long as I can remember friends come to me for a much-needed chat. It quickly became clear what I wanted to do in life: helping people by listening to their story. Psychology was the obvious study choice. Initially, I planned to be a therapist with my own practice, but in the end, I opted for Personnel Management and Industrial Psychology.”
“The way I look at (working) life has been influenced by the Chiro. I’ve been an active member of this community since primary school. I use these experiences in my job every day. That’s something I wish everyone could do: combining your passion with your job. With our current retirement age, it’s even more important to be able to do what you love!”
“I like to see how people grow, but I also want to keep working on myself. That is why I chose Tobania: I already saw in the job description that I would get so many chances, even being a junior. I grab these opportunities with both hands."
“Being a junior corporate talent acquisition specialist appealed to me, of course, but a good atmosphere is just as important. I love the ‘work hard, play hard’ mentality. For our motivation, we get so many great moments and events in return.”

Live up to your ambitions
“I initially started as a consultant at Tobania, but always with an ambitious plan in mind. I wanted to play my part in the story of a company. That promise has been fulfilled after two years: I grew from a consultant Program Manager to Operations Manager. This way, I contribute to the company’s game plan.”
“Being Operations manager at Tobania.Business, I am responsible for the link between our customers and our business consultants, together with my team of Business Managers. That also includes a lot of operational follow-up: I keep a close eye on the effeciency and budget of our unit.”
“We write the story of Tobania together: for me that’s only possible with motivated colleagues, who want to work together on the bigger picture. It's just like cooking: all ingredients together determine the success of your dish. Only with the right combination, you can achieve the best results: in the workplace and in the kitchen! Suprised that I’ll soon be the proud owner of a chef’s degree?”
David Decreemer, Operations Manager at Tobania

It’s a colourful life
“Trying new things adds colour to your life, it provides variety. That is something I wish everyone could do: take control of your life and try something new. Take steps towards what you really want to do. I apply this approach at work: give people the chance to be themselves. Then you can really discover the strengths in the other person and achieve quality together.”
“I am currently working as a coordinator/coach on a project at Partena Professionals. We are working according to a "Try and Hire" principle. We recruit new employees and coach them to be the best version of themselves in their field. After this learning phase, they become a Partena employee. I help them with every challenge they can face on that journey.”
“I don't like labels, so I actually don’t like to call myself ‘coach’. I like to focus on the person behind a role. This employee centricity of Tobania.Business is what really appealed to me. We embrace a non-classical way of thinking and approach projects with a focus on qualitative results. We are not a staffing company, but we develop business solutions for the customer, which we implement at our clients.”
